According to the American Iron and Steel Institute, approximately 88% of the world's steel is recycled! This means that in North America alone, 60–80 million tons of steel are recycled annually.

The full recyclability of steel ensures that the resources invested in its production are not lost and can be reused indefinitely. Due to its magnetic properties, steel is easy to separate from waste streams, ensuring high recovery rates. Many products we use are actually manufactured from up to 100% recycled steel.
